VINTAGE SEWING MACHINE

FUSIBLE COLLAGE TECHNIQUES

WITH LAURA HEINE PATTERN

This is a very fun and creative project…a designing process, and you are the designer! You may use the pattern picture as close as possible, or just for reference. It is a great project to use up some of your scraps you’ve been saving. Bolt has plenty of sewing motif fabrics to choose from, too.

You will be instructed on the fusible collage techniques Laura Heine uses along with extra techniques and tips Barbara has learned through the years. We will be doing the sewing machine design in class, but when finished, you will have learned the collage technique so you can do any design you wish! No sewing is required during the class.
